Watching the Changing the Guard ceremony is a highlight for visitors in Windsor. The schedule, set by the British Army, varies each month.

Usually accompanied by a band (weather permitting), the guards march from Victoria Barracks on Sheet Street, up the High Street, and into Windsor Castle. Prime viewing spots include Windsor High Street and the Corn Exchange under Windsor Guildhall.

For a closer view of the actual ceremony in the Lower Ward outside the Guardroom, an entrance ticket to Windsor Castle is required. Arrive early to secure a good spot.
